The [DaDa 100 redux] EYE:

Have you ever freelanced for an ‘agency’ in Dean Street run by a know-it-all old-as-muck Brit asshole who asked you to do work for a near-bankrupt company?… and you bent backwards trying to impress both, as ‘professional’. The lesson is what do you do when you don’t get paid and you end up in your bag with 8 hours of footage you had edited ‘nice’ for both. So, a voice inside comes out and says, fuck that you’ve got a DaDa movie here and that is the meaning of it all, if you can use your imagination. Here is the dream – the redux 2017 version 5. The effect employed is something ‘the industry’ seem to have ‘discovered’ recently (this film had found it in 1999) however the difference lies in how the film invested it with meaning and not turned it into eye-candy.

The film was presented at Edinburgh Film Festival.
